Baby Shower!

I had the prettiest baby shower ever! Well it looked kinda like a bridal shower but it was really pretty and I loved it! It was a tea party! My aunt and my mom decorated the tables with tea pots and cups with gorgeous fresh flowers in them. And little girl booties. So cute! Both my sister-in-laws Summer and Stephanie planned it and they did a fantastic job! We had four different types of scones, three types of little sandwiches, fresh fruit and veggies, spinach artichoke dip, hot waisel, lemon water, and crystal light. And a fabulous cake Stephanie made. I was yummy and set up so pretty and elegant! Never have I seen a baby shower look like this! I am so grateful for all the hard work that was put into it to make it beautiful and fun! Thanks to all!

Bed Ridden

Well last Wednesday night I was having some pain in my sides and back and called my Dr. and they told me I should come in to make sure it wasn't early labor. Well I went in and it ended up that I was having contractions. Just small ones but nonetheless, they were contractions. They kept me at the hospital for monitoring for four hours to make sure things were going alright. They also did an ultrasound to make sure she was ok. Of course she is fine =) And still a girl =D They said it was much to early to be having contractions that were that close together so they gave me a shot to make the contractions stop. And yup, that shot did the trick. It also gave me the jitters. They said it was equivalent to 5 cups of coffee. Well when you arent used to like any caffeine it can be kinda crazy! It gave me the shakes for like an hour. It was weird!
The next day I had my Dr. appt. and she checked me to see how things were going. She told me I was not dilated which is good, but 60 % effaced. So she told me to take it easy for a few days and that she wanted to see me the next week. So yesterday I went in and she checked me again. This time I was 80% effaced and dilated to a 1 1/2. She didn't like that much. She said it was too soon. So she put me on strict bed rest until I am 36 weeks. That will be Dec. 5th. So I am thinking it is free game to have her after that right!? I mean come on! =) So today is my first full day being bed ridden. Hmmmm, we will see how this goes. Pretty boring and uncomfortable to just sit and lay here. It's really boring when Trent is at work! But so far I am surviving. I have my next appt on monday so we will see how things are going at that point. I am thinking this little girl has plans of her own and wants to make her mom happy by not having her on Christmas! I think it will be much before that at this point! But I guess you never quite know! Wish me luck!

8 weeks left? Really?

I can't believe how time has already flown by. Yet it has taken so long to get here! I am getting closer and closer to having everything settled in for baby. We have decided on a name for her too =) Her name will be Kelsey Jane Caudle. It took us a while to finally agree on a first and even longer to agree on a middle. I didn't think it would be that hard! But she is going to be adorable just like her name! But saying there is only 8 weeks left is making me more and more nervous. I need to get more things done around here! Especially since that means there is only 7 weeks left til Christmas. Yikes! I also got a job! Isn't that crazy? Getting a job on my eighth month of pregnancy? Well Old Navy hired me for the season. So hopefully it works out wells for me since I am due right after the holidays. We can definitely use the extra money since we are having a hard time as it is. So I am going to try my hardest to work, work, work! Maybe if I do well enough they will consider hiring me back on after I have the baby. That would be nice =) Anyway, that's whats happening right now. Trent is still working part time with Speeds Towing and going to school full time. I think he is struggling a little bit and is getting anxious about school, work, and having a baby. I love him for all he does for our family and I hope that he knows he is a hero in my eyes. =D

Halloween

This Halloween, Summer painted my tummy like a Jack-o-lantern =) It was fun to have Kelsey "dress up". haha! I even carved a pumpkin to look like my shirt! Trent got to carve a pumpkin at his parents too. I got to attend the Trunk or Treating at church and Trent had to work =( But it was still fun

Sick and pregnant. Not a good mix

Being sick and pregnant isn't that fun. I have been coughing my chest out and blowing my nose every two minutes. Every time I cough it hurts and I am afraid I am hurting my baby girl =( It's almost like she is going to pop out from coughing so hard! I am ready to not be sick when I am 7 months pregnant. It's getting harder and harder trying not to wet my pants when I cough! Probably too much info.....

Craftiness

For Christmas this year I have been really getting on my crafty side. Thanks to my Mom and sister-in-law, Summer =) I have already accomplished some really cute things for others for Christmas. But I still have a few more to go =) I also have just a few things for myself. Well mainly just Kelsey for the baby room. =) I have made my froggy blanket, kitchen towels, and three table runners. I have finished one of the table runners completely and have one quilted. I have to quilt the other one still and sew the binding on both of them. What's left? I have a tablecloth, maybe another blanket, and a big foot cushion. I think there are more? I dunno. I just know I am not done yet! Here are a couple pictures. I know the table runners are all the same patterns but I like that pattern a lot and it's nice and easy =)

My Best Friends Wedding

I was able to attend my Best Friends Wedding...and Cousin =) I just want to say that I am so happy for Stacie and Zach and that I love them! I am so excited to spend married time with them! She was a gorgeous bride. Congratulations!
