Christmas =)

Christmas was fun this year. As it usually is =) It was a little different than usual though. We usually switch every year to who's family we spend it with. Just like the other holidays. So if we do Christmas with one family, we do Christmas Eve with the other and then switch years. Since it was our year with the Caudles and it was my brother's turn with his wife, my family decided to do all of our Christmas the Saturday before. It actually worked out pretty nice. We had both sets of Grandparents there also so then we wouldn't have to figure out how to get to their houses and do Christmas with them too. It was a win win! We went down Peacock Lane, which when we got there realized that we were way too early! We had no idea that the lights didn't come on til 6. Even though it was already dark. So we had a new experience of walking it without the lights. Haha! Well there were a few houses that had them but most didn't. Then we went back and had our snack type dinner and did presents with everyone. Kelsey had a great time as it was really her first time experiencing Christmas and understanding the whole presents thing. It was super fun to watch her open her presents that I didn't really open any of mine til the end. Love watching her. We also played some games after we laid the kids down. So that was a lot of fun. Love being with my family =)
On Christmas Eve since it would have been our turn with my parents, we invited them over for dinner and games. It was fun to host them and enjoy our time together =) The elves also came to visit! Yay! That is my favorite tradition that I was happy to pass along with Kelsey. Trent really enjoys it too which makes it a lot more fun =) Sometimes it is fun to have my husband act like a little kid ;)
Christmas morning we woke up Kelsey girl and did the whole Christmas morning together. I was so excited to watch her and see her face! She had a lot of fun I think unwrapping her presents and then playing with them. She is such a cute little sweet thing! She seemed pretty excited. I may have been more excited though. Haha! Trent and I had a nice Christmas too. I wish I had more money where I could just buy both of them whatever they wanted. I love to give to people when I can anyway. It is fun and I love their reactions and their happiness. I don't do it a lot but when I can it is fun =) I get in trouble with my husband if I try any funny business. Back to Christmas! I made some orange rolls which turned out really yummy and we ate and had a really laid back morning. We are usually in a rush to go to peoples houses that we have never had time just to linger around. Kelsey had her nap and then we headed out to the Caudles. We did a service gift exchange with everyone this year instead of gifts which was a good idea. It was a little different but everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was fun to do which is a plus. We then did presents with everyone and ate a nice dinner that Diane prepared and had a fun time hanging out together and playing games. It was a fun day and we really enjoyed ourselves =)  We always love spending time with family. They are all so important to us. Well there! There is our Christmas story! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Now for some pics =)
